What it's for
The redirect creator was written by Carlos Averett, a devout jihadi who has graciously allowed us free use of his tool. Its purpose is to disguise links from unsuspecting readers.
When links are posted to slashdot, readers have the option (enabled by default) of seeing which domain the link originates from. This often foils an attempt to send someone to a prank link. However, clever use of a redirect can fool all but the most cautious link follower. Your link will appear to originate from a legit domain, but when followed will immediately redirect to whichever page you specify.
How to use
Pick a URL that you want to send people to. Go to the Redirect Tool and enter this link into the text field. Hit submit, and you'll have your link. Hit the 'add another redirect' button to further obfuscate your link.
Use your redirects wisely for best results. For example, if you're writing a post about the space program and use a nasa.gov redirect, you're in excellent shape.
Notes
The redirect creator is located off-site, and is maintained by its creator.
